As a Research Associate, Emily is responsible for supporting RIA in its publications, including the recently published 2018 Canadian RI trends Report. She holds a BA. Hons from Acadia University in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with Economics, and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge in Environmental Policy. At Cambridge, Emily studied the effect on energy policy on cleantech venture capital and private equity investment in Canada. Now living in London, Emily volunteers as the Programme Coordinator for UNESCO’s Voices of Future Generations Initiative, and works at Arabesque Asset Management, a sustainable finance firm. She believes finance is the way to make a positive impact on environmental and social issues from the inside out.
