Muska Ulhaq manages the RIA’s programs and business operations. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 8 years of experience in impact investing and social finance. Muska joined the RIA from MaRS Centre for Impact Investing where she held various roles within the Capital Advisory team, including managing the education and engagement efforts to grow a portfolio of impact investment educational offerings. At MaRS Discovery District, Muska also oversaw and led all aspects of the annual Social Finance Forum, Canada’s largest gathering of impact investors, social entrepreneurs, and social finance professionals. She also has a policy background and has worked in both the private and public sectors, including at the Ontario Ministry of Revenue (Ontario Ministry of Finance). She currently co-leads the Learning Sub-Committee at Canadian Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID), a community of impact investors, organizations, and individuals all working to strengthen the value and volume of impact investment in developing countries.
Muska has a master’s degree in public policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at University of Toronto, and an undergraduate degree in political studies and psychology from Queen’s University.
