Leanne Hickman is a results-oriented leader with a passion for building strong relationships, driving membership growth, and delivering exceptional value to stakeholders. As the Director of Membership Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at the Responsible Investment Association, she focuses on enhancing member experience, expanding the association’s network, and fostering high-impact partnerships.
With a background in business development, and strategic engagement, Leanne excels at identifying solutions that meet client needs and ensure long-term success. She has held key roles at the Institute for International Research, the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment, and the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association, leading initiatives to strengthen industry collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Most recently, she served as CSO at Planetary Intelligence (Pi), where she developed partnerships to support corporate and institutional growth.
Leanne holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University and certifications in ESG and climate action from Terra.do and One Point Five Academy. Leanne is always eager to hear from members and partners, ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
