Alison Schneider

Alison Schneider is the VP of Responsible Investment (RI) at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). She is a co-founder of GRESB Infrastructure (2015), and chaired the original investor working group. She contributes to global thought leadership on RI and recently authored a chapter in: The New Frontiers of Sovereign Investment (2017). She co-authored ICGN’s Guidance on Diversity (2016) and ICGN’s Guidance on Fiduciary Duty (for approval at the AGM in 2018), sits on GRESB’s Infrastructure advisory board, and various boards and committees including: the PRI SDG advisory committee, methane advisory committee, ICGN shareholder responsibility committee and an investor committee for PIAC. She teaches a module on shareholder engagement for ICD and has presented at the UN, UNPRI, RIA, ICGN, Globe and Cambridge University. Alison is past president of Junior League of Edmonton, and lives in Edmonton, Alberta with her family.
