Shelly takes a lead role in analyzing the environmental performance, social responsibility and corporate governance (ESG) of companies for the IA Clarington Inhance SRI Funds. She is also responsible for determining and executing shareholder engagement strategies on behalf of the Funds.
Shelly has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, almost 10 of which in ESG analysis. Prior to joining the Vancity Investment Management sub-advisory team, Shelly was responsible for ESG and ethical risk management for Vancity Savings Credit Union. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minor in commerce from the University of British Columbia and a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) designation from the Responsible Investment Association of Canada.
