Bérénice Lasfargues works in the Sustainability Centre – BNP Paribas Asset Management’s (BNPP AM) centre of excellence for sustainability – where she supports the agenda of the ESG research team and promotes BNPP AM’s sustainability expertise both internally and externally. Since joining, she has been working on policy and research development, such as BNPP AM’s Global Sustainability Strategy, and project managed the revamping of BNPP AM’s proprietary ESG scoring methodology. She also works with investment teams to better integrate ESG criteria in their investment process, coordinating the internal network of ESG Champions for investment teams.

Previously, she worked for the OECD, undertaking economic research on green and blended finance. She also worked as a legislative fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives and conducted field work on climate change and development in emerging markets. Bérénice holds masters degrees in Engineering and Environmental Management from Ecole Centrale Paris (now CentraleSupelec) and the National University of Singapore, respectively. She is an EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies) CESGA (Certified ESG Analyst).
