Do you wonder if you will be able to educate your children, or retire when you want with an income that allows you to spend time doing what makes you happy and fulfilled? What if life throws you some unexpected curves, such as a divorce or death of a spouse? Timea helps individuals and families create and maintain their highly personal financial road maps so they have peace of mind along that road.
With close to 30 years experience (since 1992), and a Certified Financial Planner since 1998, Timea has all the skills required to create comprehensive and effective plans to help her clients reach their financial goals. Very early on, she realized that women have unique financial planning needs. She started holding well-received financial planning seminars for women in 1994, for women’s organizations, for McMaster University (her alma mater), The Halton Board of Education, and other companies. In the early 2000’s Timea was one of the first financial planners in Canada trained in Collaborative Law and earned her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation and recently received her Responsible Investment Specialist designation. She is passionate about continuing her education and staying current.
Timea is a long-time Rotarian, and feels strongly about contributing to worthy causes. In her downtime, she enjoys travelling, cooking, reading, volunteering, stand-up comedy, the arts and the outdoors. Timea lives in Burlington with her husband, Dave, her two teenage sons and their beloved family dog, Chester.
