FM-FSI’s Best Sustainability Report Awards

This annual competition, launched by the FSI in the spring of 2013, aims to promote excellence in sustainable development reporting among Canadian companies. It is conducted in collaboration with university students. The awards for best sustainable development report for each sector are announced during a luncheon-conference.

The FM-FSI Competition for Best Sustainability Report targets sustainability reports of Canadian companies that are part of the S&P/TSX Composite Index. The selection of the best report in each of several specific industry sectors is made by a jury of university students who use a common set of selection criteria, to which they can add customized criteria for their given sector. The students are enrolled at participating universities, including Concordia, HEC Montréal, École Polytechnique, McGill, Sherbrooke, UQAM and Waterloo.
