Tony Pringle
Project: Supporting ESG Leadership Among Canadian Alternative Investors
Tony Pringle co-founded Quinn & Partners in 2013 and in less than eight years, he has established himself as one of the leading advisors on ESG integration among leading Canadian institutional investors and alternative investors, in particular. Tony has led client and consultant teams that have put many prominent Canadian institutional investors on the global ESG leadership map, such as Fiera Real Estate and Infrastructure, Manulife Investment Management, Desjardins GAM – Real Estate, HOOPP and many more in both Canada and the US.
Tony advises CEOs, CIOs and chief responsible investing officers on all items relating to ESG strategy, ESG integration, ESG measurement and ESG reporting. Tony has contributed to more than 20 ESG programs and policies. He leads a team which collectively supported investors in real estate and infrastructure assets in excess of $250B with ESG disclosures in 2020. Tony is currently advising the new University Pension Plan Ontario on its responsible investing leadership strategy, derived from a global benchmarking study of leading responsible investment and climate change practices, and he developed an impact investing framework for a North American asset manager.
Many of Tony’s clients have been recognized with rewards and recognition, including IPE’s coveted real estate sustainability strategy of the year and the GRESB Five Star rating.
As co-founder of the firm, Tony supports the management of a team of almost 25 ESG professionals.
