My practice as an advisor is focused on managing wealth for yourself, your family or your business, we provide the professional advice you need. We’ll help manage your investments, fund your new business venture, plan your retirement, protect your financial security and plan your estate.

My passion as an advisor goes above and beyond meeting my clients needs. As a father to two young boys, I want to set the example that you can be a successful advisor AND make a positive contribution to society through responsible investing. I am particularly focused on climate change and how the investment industry and professionals such as myself can be part of that solution.

Kimberly Beaton

Kimberly believes that successful wealth management begins with helping clients to understand their goals, not just in financial terms, but in life terms. Her primary objective is to build long-term wealth for her clients. To this end, she builds her clients financial plans and investment strategies aligned with their values to put them on a path to achieving their goals and finding financial security. Risk management through responsible investment is an integral part of her investment philosophy.

Kimberly has over 15 years of experience in finance and economic policy. Prior to joining Scotia Wealth Management, she spent almost ten years at the International Monetary Fund where she advised countries on policies to foster economic and financial stability. Notably, she served as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director for Canada, Ireland, and the Caribbean, in which capacity she contributed to Canada’s global policy leadership. Kimberly also worked for several years at the Bank of Canada where she was the senior economist working on the United States at the height of the financial crisis. She holds a Master of Arts in economics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Economics (First Class) from Saint Mary’s University.
