Dérick Duchesne has been a Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank Financial since October 2016. He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration – Finance from the Université du Québec en Outaouais and earned his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation in 2019. In 2022, he became a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) and an active member of the Responsible Investment Association. In 2023, he was recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®).
Dérick is known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to his clients’ financial well-being, which has helped him build long-term, trust-based relationships. He is always available to answer questions and share his extensive knowledge.
Outside of work, Dérick enjoys cycling and spending time outdoors with his spouse and three young children.
With 35 years of financial planning experience and expertise in responsible investing, Sonia is passionate about leading her clients to align their money with their values. A Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) a Registered Financial Planner (RFP), and a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS), Sonia has been awarded the Wealth Professionals Advisor of the Year – Responsible Investments three times and is currently an excellence awardee for Wealth Professional’s Financial Literacy Champion Award and for Excellence in Philanthropy and Community Service. Sonia is co-author of Financial Success for Women by Women, and of two books about retirement planning forthcoming in 2025.
