Van Berkom Global Asset Management

Van Berkom is a 100% employee-owned asset management firm founded in 1991, specializing in small-cap equities. As of September 30, 2025, we manage C$5.4 billion in assets across a range of strategies, including Canadian Small Cap, U.S. Small Cap, U.S. SMID, Global Small Cap, and International Small Cap. Our investment philosophy is rooted in identifying high-quality, well-managed small and mid-cap companies trading at discounted valuations and holding them for the long term. Integrating financially material environmental, social, and governance factors throughout our investment process is a natural extension of this approach, helping uncover risks and opportunities that support long-term value creation. We believe in the strength of companies that generate solid operating cash flow, deliver superior returns on capital, and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage in their markets.
