Brian Coote is a Portfolio Manager at Scotia Wealth Management with over 20 years’ experience. Brian has been a Portfolio Manager with Scotia Wealth Management since 2014. For the previous 10 years, Brian ran a successful business self-employed as a Portfolio Manager at an independent firm in the South Surrey/White Rock area. The experience he gained being a business owner helps him to relate to his clients, many of whom are, or have been successful business owners themselves.
Brian adheres to a disciplined investment philosophy that is focused on long term performance while managing risk. Through a systematic process, Brian develops appropriate financial strategies that will allow his clients to reach their personal financial goals.
As a Portfolio Manager, he manages each client’s portfolio based on a detailed Investment Policy Statement that outlines the parameters of the portfolio.
